Have you ever been on patrol and noticed the skies were darkening, forming odd shaped clouds while the wind was twirling in odds ways and knew something was happening but not sure what, only later to find out a funnel cloud had come through causing a path of destruction like you've never seen?    Did you wish then you had known what was coming so you could warn people while protecting yourself ?  Well now you can!  During this one hour highly informative session you'll learn what those clouds and odd weather patterns mean so you and your community can have advanced warning of dangerous weather approaching. Be sure to join us and the National Weather Service to learn more!!

"2006 Citizen Action Award" Presentation:    presented by the NACOP Board of Directors to Ms. Erin Runnion, founder of the The Joyful Child Foundation, and  Samantha's PRIDE Community Awareness and Child Watch program  in memory of her daughter Samantha Runnion.

On July 15, 2002, then five year old Samantha was abducted in front of her Orange County, CA, home, never to return. Her kidnapper and molester was later captured and convicted of her killing and sentenced to death.  Since then, Ms Runnion has worked tiredesly to help protect our nations children with the above organizations while speaking out on this troubling issue. She continues to work with legislators to help enact stiffer laws and prison sentences for those who do prey upon our nations most precious asset, our children. We are honored to present our coveted annual award to Ms. Runnion for her efforts and look forward to you joining us to help present this to her in person.

"How to Identify and Protect our Children from Sexual Predators"

"The Seven Signs of Potential Terrorist Activity in Your Community"
